Giorgi Guliashvili began his studies at the Tbilisi State Conservatory in Georgia. He made his debut in 2019, performing the roles of Tamino in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata. In 2021, he joined the Academy of Teatro di San Carlo, studying for two years under the tutelage of the world-renowned Italian soprano Mariella Devia. Guliashvili made his Italian debut in 2022 as Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca at Teatro di San Carlo. He also participated in the historic revival of Paisiello's Don Chisciotte della Mancia at the Royal Palace of Naples.
In the following year, he appeared in concerts with the orchestra of Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and other European cities. He performed the role of Signor Hervey in Donizetti's Anna Bolena under the baton of Riccardo Frizza. After graduating from the academy, he returned to Teatro di San Carlo in the spring of 2024 to perform the role of Flavio in Bellini's Norma.
Giorgi also participated in American young artist programs, understudying the role of Lensky for the Music Academy of the West's production of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. In 2024, he joined the prestigious Merola Program of San Francisco Opera, where he performed excerpts from Faust, lolanta, and Lucia di Lammermoor. In 2025, Giorgi is scheduled to perform the role of Vaudémont in Tchaikovsky's Iolanta at the Yale School of Music, where he will graduate from Yale University's postgraduate opera program.
